Due to rising energy prices, our client started to look for ways to save money on their electricity bill, solar panels provided a good solution. The most cost-effective solution was to install an on-roof solar panel system which we fitted in a neat block on the south-facing roof.
The solar panels and inverter took a day and a half for our team to install and commission. The inverter was installed in the loft and a meter in the garage that measures what the solar panels produce.
Each unit of energy generated by the panels will be eligible for the feed-in tariff and will be used in the home, what is not used will get fed back to the grid. 50% of what is generated will get an additional export tariff as the energy company deems it to have been sent back to the grid.
