Here we installed 14 JA 310W solar panels in Winchester. The solar photovoltaic panels were installed in-roof using the GSE in-roof system.
To achieve this we stripped out a large area of tiles and installed new felt and batten. We then installed the solar panels and re-instated the tiles on the perimeter. Giving the solar panels a more aesthetically pleasing look compared to other solar panels in Winchester.
The panels are optimized with SolarEdge. SolarEdge is a type of inverter different from a traditional string inverter. SolarEdge optimizes each panel independently helping improve situations where there is soiling, dirt, shading, etc.
The total size of the solar panel system is 4.34 kWp on average this produces 10kWh’s per day. The electricity produced from the solar panels can be used inside the home to help power electrical appliances such as Fridge freezer, washing machine, cooker etc.
